Cashback Forum

Apologies if this has already been suggested, I did search and didn't see anything relevant or atleast recent.
I've had this idea for awhile and it just seems to be more and more appropriate.
In short, how about creating a Forum specifically for all cashback related posts. I understand structuring on any type of forum be it new or old or ammended can be fairly complex and the more I think of my current idea the more complex I can see it becoming, so i'll just advance my idea on the fly.
Cashback Forum; obviously this can encompass many things. So you break it into sub-forums too, like many of the main Forums here. I can't think on appropriate names right now but for instance
Cashback > (sites like Quidco, TopCashback, FatCheese etc..) This could be a single set of sub forums, I think breaking them down individually is uncessary or that would have been implemented ages ago.
Cashback > Survey sites, another sub-forum
Cashback > Other, could cover anything else like Pigsback for example.
I'm sure others can chirp in with additional or alternative forum groupings.
The reason why is that "Cashback" where it mainly applies to the initial listings, sites like Quidco, seems to be all over the place. There are threads that cover these sites on too many forums now. It's, well, not hard, but for lack of a better word, we'll say hard, to track down specific information.
Everything from, ongoign events, no spend offers, single offers, how it works, when it doesnt work and referrals, these few topics alone tend to span several forums when it would be more appropriate to cover them in a single place, well perhaps everything except the refers section as that would create additional rulings on how posts are conducted.
I'll keep it short for now and see what others think.

Most people post cashback related problems etc in referral forum it has worked fine most of the time dont see a need for yet another forum0

I can't give you stats but if you search any of the known cashback sites on the forum then take a look at the results, specifically noting the forum they are posted in, you'll see what I mean.
Also, if that was the case it just goes to show how messy it is. Half the stuff that get's posted about such sites is in no way related to that forum.
Edit: Just to add, as ideas come to me that I previously forgot. If someone was new to cashback sites in general they want to be able to check a collection of data that could be better displayed through a single forum specific to the actual topic. Most individual forums have stickies that provide a wealth of info related to the topic, everything from specific queries to FAQ's for example. If you take cashback on a grand scale, you could have
* List of cashback sites
* Reviews
* Lists of Daily clicks
* Lists of no spend offers
* Lists of data with successful or unsuccessful trackings
* Guides on setting up a web browser(s) for doing cashback/clicks
* Guides on cookies, how to ensure your cashback works
* Any news worthy posts relating to new offers or offers ending
* Guides on pay outs and timings
Come to think of it, the most relevant post of cashback is posted in "Debt-Free Wannabe" forum, again just to show it's not all in the referals boards.
There's so much to cashback that could be better grouped and collated to help users new and old, especially if it was in an individual forum that was specific to the topic and not broadly strewen across prwctically every forum on the boards.
Sorry, if I seem like I'm jumping down your throat, I'm not, I appreciate any input, just trying to get my point across. If i've overlooked anything I definately want to know.0 -
Cashback posts are everywhere, freebies, DFW, referrers....and others.
They should really be kept to one forum in discussion or a new forum!0 -
"Would you be interested in making a website for both Lord of The Rings and Transformers? Because, i'll moderate it for free"
Dunno why that came to me, god i love that film.0 -
I agree - should be a place to keep notes/comments on all the sites. Yeah referral board is used but they are all over and not helpfull to new members. There isnt really any guides or help.
Id be happy to contribute with others but some stickies for it.0 -
I tend to stick to the referrers where I can, but then you do a search and find posts everywhere.
I found the quidsin thread in up your income the other day...0 -
