Bank Accounts and DRO?

I have a Nationwide Flex Account with debit card at the moment, I'm pretty sure they'll close it when they know I have a DRO, although I owe them no money.
Should I open a basic bank account now (was thinking Barclays Cash Card) or wait until after I receive my DRO and do it then?

Hi Princess
Nationwide will not be informed of your DRO unless you have debts with them and if not they should not close your account.
If they do then you can move to another bank0 -
Thank you mazz! That's good to know.DRO granted 17/10/20090
