Trouble with Barclays internet banking.

On the 16/7 I imputed instructions to pay my wifes credit card bill with Sainsburys bank on my Barclays internet banking. This was to be taken out on the 27/7 however we were notified on the 12/8 that Sainsburys had not received the payment. This none payment occured while Barclays was upgrading their web site and I am of the opinion that during this upgrade my payment went missing. However Barclays say that I have not actioned the payment and the charges I have incurred from Sainsburys are down to me. However when looking back at my payment history this says that the last payment I made to Sainsburys bank was on the 23/02/09 when I have made payments March April May June and the one that is in dispute in July with Barclays. Has anyone else had this problem at the end of July.
