I've just done the same thing, except mine was arranged yesterday to be sent today - from my Lloyds TSB to my CO-OP account.
Every other time it's arrived on the day of the transfer pretty much immediately but not this time.
I've just rung them and the advisor told me it hadn't been sent on the 'faster payments' system for some reason and it could take between 2 hrs and 4 days to arrive.0 -
Thanks teffers, I doubt if he sent it using the "faster payments" systems - I'll just have to be patient,
Cheers0 -
You're welcome Madmonk - I asked why mine hadn't gone through FPS but the advisor had no idea (just spotted one other person in the same boat elsewhere on the forum although his turned up after a few hours) and as we have no ability to choose which method it's sent by it's looking like a purely LTSB issue in this instance.
Hope yours (and mine) turn up soon ;-)0 -

If the payment was sent via FP it should arrive on Wednesday. I noticed that payments taken off my TSB account after midnight did not arrive until late morning.
It would appear to be the case that payments >£500 are always sent by BACS.

£500 is the maximum with Lloyds for faster payments, anything over will go via BACS and will arrive on Monday if it left the account on Wednesday.0 -
Well I'm still waiting for the £70 that my son sent via his Lloyds account to my Co-op Cashminder ac on Tuesday morning? :mad:0

With LTSB you have to confirm transaction by entering password a second time - just in case.
If it has left his account get him to check the details sort code and account number.0 -
I have just managed to contact so called "very intelligent" son (at Oxford doing History degree), got him to check his account on line and guess what the money never left his account - suspect it's as previously said the daft boy didn't re-enter his password!!! To think he's suppose to be far more intelligent than me and his Dad!!:eek::eek::eek: Re did it so hopefully this time it will turn up! Fingers crossed0
