To cut a long story short....

Many phone calls later, and after HMRC and SLC passing it back and forth twice, I issued an ultimatum to the SLC (who said it needed to be passed back to the HMRC); "if you pass it back I will issue court proceedings against you this afternoon" and listed the history and the reasons why. Two hours later they phoned back to say they would pay it back.... This after a morning of "its not our problem".


Words fail me.



What a complete farce.


Just received it in my bank.
