You are funny! lol Who said i wasnt gonna pay to them?iTS CALLED personal cheque and you can buy that cheque back after one month or let them keep for another month for 10 pounds and BTW that was the best advice on here when you stuggle with money

Your posts are very hard to read...............is it pigeon english? or are you as bad at constructing a sentence as you are giving advice?

I know what you mean. To make it more understood.....You can go into places like the cheque centre for example and write them a cheque say for £200, then on your next pay day the cheque will come out of your account along with the charge for the service which is usually £25/30 , well it has been anytime ive done it.

If you get into difficulty repaying a Provi loan they will almost always offer you a new loan encompassing the original loan plus the new amount rather than a new and seperate loan. You will then end up paying double the extortionate rates they already charge - don't do it!!!!
    One life.

If you have difficulty in repaying your original loan, they will not offer you a new one encompassing the old one.
You will only be offered this if your repayment history is good enough.
Most offices and managers will be happy to talk to a customer and try to arrange lower payments for a period.
They would rather get some money than no money, especially the agent who gets paid depending on how much they collect.

I agree the rates do seem extortionate, but at least they won't charge you any more money if you miss a payment or go over the agreement length.

I've personally never had a loan from the Provvie because I've always managed to get cheaper credit but being from a low income background I know many people who have had cause to bless the Provvie, the rates are extortianate yes, but they don't hide anything and are consistent and straight up. If you can get cheaper credit do so, if credit is a must for emergencies or urgent replacements of appliances, to get your car on the road so you can work etc and you have no way of getting cheaper credit then I think the Provvie is an OK choice, established 125 years so they must be doing something right
  • i've used them
Obviously their interest rates are very high but i think its a decent way of getting finance
I've had 2 loans from them...never missed one payment and have even had my limit increased due to this. Obviously in a perfect world i'd get a bank loan or similar with better interest rates, but I was offered a job in a new city and had only 2 weeks to sort everything out, without Provident I would still be stuck in a dead end job and probably never have had the chance to move city!

provident will be featured in an expose in a new channanel 4 documentary early next year, which will expose how they rip customers off!stay well clear of this company, why people even use them is anyones guess, considering the rip you off with sky high interest rates and giving loans to pensioners!
  • yellow100 do you work for a company that competes with provident?
