just remember not to use them in tesco or else we will have a 3 page long thread with the MSE police going on about the rights and wrongs!! Tesco really won't give a monkeys! so far 831 people have viewed this thread - in the whole of the uk how many people use tescos!?!?!?!?! And out of the millions of ££££ they take does anyone think they care about a few vouchers off a select number of people? They lose far more due to shoplifting!!0

Got to agree with every word of this.
It is clear that any massive company such as Tescos would rather lose a few pennies per transaction (such as by accepting an irrelevant coupon) just to get you in the shop in the first place and spending your money there.
Obviously lots of irrelevant coupons are taken every day up and down the country and it is just ignored at a national level otherwise the coupon policy as a whole would be long gone by now.
Also I don't think the MSE Coupon Police are as ethical and moral as they would like to have us believe. They are simply just looking after themselves. For all we know they are passing tons of dodgy coupons themselves while lecturing us about it.
Well it looks like a change in policy is imminent, we won't be using any coupons, dodgy or not without buying the product. Anyone who thinks Tesco don't know or care about these things is naive, they didn't get to be where they are today by not bothering about the detail.0 -

It's recent abuse which has been the nail in the coffin of coupon use, this has been stated on Tesco staff forums where a lot of staff are disappointed and angry with the recent abuse. Some people don't know a good thing when they see it - the Tesco coupon policy - and just have to go and abuse it. Such people are just plain dim TBH and need to go back to reading about celebs in Hello magazine to stretch their mind.
Personally I think if Tesco stop all internet coupon acceptance (except perhaps Couponnet) that would be a very good thing. It would get rid of the 'jump on the bandwagon' abusers and their bagfuls of Pedigree coupons. They wouldn't have a clue how to put in the homework to gather other coupons, thank goodness.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon ... Hi All ...
Just been to my local Tescolditz and indeed the hammer has fallen ... They are only accepting coupons if you buy the product ... I am not one who will travel far and wide to find a Tescoggins who will take them .. (though I will go to the lovely Waitrose) .. so is likely the end of my couponing days ... We no longer 'depend' on store savings ... as are in the blessed postition now of having paid off our mortgage completely ... However it is likely abuse at the store has caused this decision and it will be very sore on those genuine 'users' who will now have to pay the extra pounds each week ...
It is as ever pure common sense not to find your hands around the throat of the golden-egg-laying Goose ...
