confused! help with scheduling ebay listing!

hi all.

i am confused:confused:

i have listed on ebay for years, am now also a business seller and often schedule my listings.

i have been trying to sell something on my personal account for about an hour! and cannot find the scheduling option - it seems that it does not exist?

am i missing something? have i done something wrong? any suggestions?

i have the schedule section in myebay, but cannot see a way. please someone, help me see the light:rolleyes:

    There are so many listing options now that ebay hide many of them. If you check the blue arrows at the top of each section you get the chance to 'see more options'.

    sell > advanced selling form > pick category > scroll down to "choose how you'd like to sell your item ....

    Quanitity
    Private listing

    and directly under that is Start immediately or Schedule time

    thanks ,can see it when you start from scratch , but when relisting and editing it aint there , i just want to scheldule a relislt or sell something similar but i dont want to have to redo each ad every time ggggrrrrrrrr

    click on unsold item (in My Ebay, Unsold Items) > click on relist > click on edit my listing

    scroll down to "choose how you'd like to sell your item ....

    Private listing

    and directly under that is Start immediately or Schedule time

    i was trying to list an item from scratch in the advanced SYI form.

    I tried to schedule an auction a couple of weeks ago but couldn't find the correct section to schedule a date. I think that I found something on Ebay that you could only choose thtis option if you have a credit card listed, which I haven't.

    Not sure whether this helps in your case.

    thanks for the help. after reading your responses and also seaching generally on the net it seems that yes, you do have to have a credit card registered to allow this to happen.

    on my other account i have my visa debit card attached, which seems to be fine. as you cannot have the same bank accounts/cards attached to two different ebay accounts i tried to add my maestro card, but it didn't like that so i had to resurrect and reactivate an old credit card. hey presto and everything is lovely and scheduled!

    hope this helps someone else in the same position x
