help! whats wrong with my car?
hi guys.
I have a nissan 100 nx and over the past few days i have noticed a loud rumble when I turn left. It passed its MOT last month with no probs.
Im pretty clueless when it comes to cars so if anyone has a vague idea what it could be i would be grateful. Im taking it to the garage at the weekend but if there is something that i can get my dad to check first please say.
The car sits low so maybe I could have damaged something when going over speed bumps but what could be damaged?
Shock absorbers are fine.
thanks Laura

First thing to check on the safety side is. Are the wheel nuts all tight?I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Rumble when turning left - front right wheel bearing would cause this.Happy chappy0

I would check your constant velocity CV joints. Turn your wheels to full lock and check for split gaitors on the driveshafts, predominantly its the outside ones which go to the hubs but occassionally it can be the inboard ones at the gearbox.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Agreed - sounds like a wheel bearing - get it checked at a 'reputable' garage.0

Whiring/Whining noise usually means bearings.
A rumble usually means its the CV joint. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
