I'm trying to install my printer on a new comp but i cant find a driver for it.
Printer:- Epson Stylus photo 830U
Comp:- Windows xp professional x64
I have tried using the printer discs but they don't support the 64 bit system.
Tried the epson site and also driverguide web site.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Just looked at the link to the epson site and no this printer doesn't yet have a driver for the 64bit.
It's not looking too good at the moment, might have to buy a new printer now.
And there was me thinking it was a good idea to go for 64 bit technology
Thnks anyway0 -
you can run 32 bit xp using a 64bit cpu like what most of us do all the timethere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0

The x64 version of windows is a pain in the !!!!!!, very few companies have released drivers for it yet, and even fewer companies have released software for it.
Good luck, personally if you dont need the x64 OS at the moment I would get the 32bit version installed for the time untill there is the software to run on it.
I now expect everyone to list programs that work on x64 to prove me wrong, I know there are some but finding them is tough and if the ones you need are available is proberbly less likley.0
