Can anyone help, i am due to move into a new house in two months and so want to cover my flat contents until then. Can you take out a two month policy (I dont want to carry it over as i am sure i can find a better deal with contents and buildings when i move)
Any help would be great.

The answer is no, the options are take out an annual policy on your current flat and then cancel it and incur any charges they make for cancelling or do the thing everyone else does and simply transfer the policy to your new property and pay any difference or possibly receive a refund if its a cheaper area to insure.0

Thanks for that, i best shop around for the best buildings and contents and incur the higher cost now.0

The thing to do is have a look at quotes on your current home, then have a look at who is competitive on the new home so you can pick a company who will be competitive when you move0
