Tricky position - Policy Admin Servs

Hello,

I was checking my DD''s recently after registering for online banking for the first time and discovered two mystery DD's.

One was for Policy Admin Servs that has been active since 2001. It's been running for 106 months with them taking £5.99 per month for this period. I haven't cancelled it yet due to the issues below.

I called them and they have no record of me on their systems nor could they find any details using the DD reference.

They are apparently phone insurance for Phones4u but I don't recall signing any insurance forms nor agreeing to a DD.

What is my position on this, my bank advise that an indemnity claim can only go back 6 months, but I'm keen on getting all the funds back, especially if they have no record of me on their systems.

This site has been recommended to me by everyone about this issue so I'm hoping that you will have some good advice.

Thanks in advance

    Hello and welcome.;)

Not too sure on this to be honest, but like anything else if something have been added without your knowledge which you have been paying out for, you have the right to complain and reclaim.

Maybe Dunstonh who is a financial adviser with lots of knowledge in these fields, can advise you in these cases.

Meanwhile though check this thread here for more information.

    Good luck.
