Pantene has a lot of fans, who for some reason, swear by it.

I tried it once for a couple of months and when I went to the hairdressers, straight away she said are you using Pantene !!!! She could tell just by the state of my hair and scalp :eek:

I've just started using Pantene smooth and sleek - it does as it says but now Iam thinking of chucking it :eek: Especially as my 12 Yr old DD is using it too

what does dd stand for? not to mention proctor and gamble are the worst company for animal testing.

The smooth and sleek feeling and look on your hair is with silicone. The same as whats in car polish. It builds up on your hair and takes lots of shampooing to get it out. This stops your hair from breathing properly so therefore ends up damaged and dry as does your scalp. (trust me thats from experience)

I've just received an email to say that I've been selected to trial the Pantene - but after reading some of these comments, I'm not sure whether I want to now! Lol!

Have had to let them know my postal address by 25th Oct so that they can send a 200ml bottle of shampoo and conditioner to me. I'll use the trial bottles then go back to other brands I think.
