You dont say which broker so hard to asnwer.

Many brokers or web sites are fronts for dealers and advertise nationally at cheaper prices to pull business from outside there area.

Worth having a look at autobytel - They are Inchcape and car will be supplied by one of their ford franchised dealers directly.

You could try dealdrivers.co.uk or drivethedeal.com as alternatives, I have friends who have used both and been very pleased. Alternatively, have you thought about pre-reg cars - we bought my mother a car from www.matlockford.co.uk and they were really helpful.

Sorry, that doesn't answer your question, I've never used ukcarbroker, but always worth exploring all the options!

I don't know how long you plan on keeping the car, but if it was for 3 years you should check out lease prices (look up specific car on What Car and follow links to lease deals). On cars like Fords doing the average 10,000 miles a year the sum of all lease payments (remember to add VAT) is sometimes less or close to the cost of depreciation. If this is the situation leasing might be better.
  • The discount you get will be neglible compared to the 1st years depreciation.

£10,000 in the 1st year.. from what cars figures.

Including VAT and road tax 36 month lease at 3 months + 35 payments totals under £9400.

Mondeo brand new is frankly a mental idea, very good option if you get it used with most of that first year £10,000 depreciation taken away. Depreciation quite slow after that.... or lease it... or find it new with an £8000 discount.
