Quidco / privilege car insurance renewal

Folks :-
My car insurance is due for renewal, I'm currently insured via privilege. The cost seems OK.
Is there anything stopping me from not renewing my existing policy but buying a new policy from Privilege via Quidco and get the £40 from Quidco?
Thanks
Kevin

No there isn't. But why stay with privelege?
Do a search on insuresupermarket for cheapest and check quidco for best cashback. I can almost best swiftcover will give chepaest quote, think they are RBS or BOS and you get cashback with them. You also get £80 cashback from TSB, £65 from Zurich and many others.
Maybe privelege is your best quote if not check others. Should not be a problem telling your insurance you wish not to renew and then taking out new policy, which will probably be cheaper than your renewal anyway.0 -
No, swiftcover are neither RBS or HBOS - though they were formed by some of the directors of Churchill who "left" after RBS bought Churchill out. The other 1/2 that left have recently announced that they are going to form a new insurer called ABC Insurance... all very incestuousAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Hi!
Privilege are there or there abouts when compared with quotes from insuresupermarket and confused.com. So I'm happy to stick with them, but if they want to give me £40 via quidco that's even better. I know about the barclays offer, but I really can't be bothered with the reported hassle of getting the £50.
