Hlep with posting to the USA please

Hi all

More advice please (as you lot are soooo good at it )

I dont normally post overseas but I'm thinking about it - I want to know for example if I wanted to post something to the USA what do I need to do?

Are there any hidden taxes etc I should look out for or anything else I need to do other than parcel the items up ready to go etc then just take it to post office.. also how do I work out postal cost?

It would depend on what items you are sending i.e clothing, electrical.s

I know that clothing is fine as i send stuff there regularly, although i send everything via Royal mail international recorded which can be expensive for heavier items but i charge the customer the right amount, this way i have peace of mind so its insured/recorded.

Your buyer may end up paying extra at their end, but there's nothing extra for you to pay except the postage from Royal Mail.
