Help needed doing turf
Could do with some advice please.
Our garden surface is crush and run and then topped with chippings/stones. This is because it is extremley wet. This has now stopped the garden flooding for a number of years.
We would not like to lay some turf. So we need to know what depth of top soil we will need to put on the stones before laying the turf.
I know ideally we would take all the stones up but we dont want to do that as it used to flood a lot.
Any help please.

if you only put 2" down expect the grass to dry out very quickly unless you water offten in very hot weather, 4 to 6" would be better.0
