Pizza and a film is always popular. My girls have also done mug painting (this can be done quite cheaply). One of the most popular food I found was fruit kebabs. Just skewer grapes, strawberries, banana, kiwi and marshmallows and serve. When my daughters were that age we had a body shop party where they get their make-up done and play a couple of games. The birthday girl gets a facial. The goody bags provided are great. Very good value for money.
  • My DD had a pamper party at that age (or was she 12, can't remember?)
A pinata in the garden and lots of nibbly bits and watched High School Musical 2 (it had just come out) after the pampering.
Many pamper party people will just do hair and nail art for younger ones if you don't want them to have make up.
For her 13th she had a limo ride and a movie night with her friends at ours.
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

    Hi thanks..
Lydia..the suling was due to wanting all her friends as usual and us saying no as she has lots of bits and we have 2 holidays booked etc so this year is a small affair..i think she gets herself annoyed as can't decide who to invite!
She has decided the play area, then to kfc or somewhere similar then the kids can be collected from there afterwards as seems a lot of hassle and food prep for a small no of kids tbh..plus some are fussy so this way they will eat i guess!..then she has her best friend for a sleepover which she doesn't know about yet so i will do cake and bits later on and dvd etc or whatever they fancy.
    Thanks

My dd, nearly 11yo had a sleepover last week for a birthday - cinema trip, McDonald's for tea, then they spent the night playing quizes on DVDs with the MUm and Dad, they had a ball, came home with a little cellophane bag with stuff from Lush in it - all very girly and grown up!
