Just wanted to add that I have got some fabulous things for my baby from the local paper. She is now 11 months and has grown out of so many of things that I got so I'm so glad that I didn't spend a fortune. I got an amazing cotbed, wardrobe and changer with drawers for £150, and the RRP was £1200!!!! It was in brilliant condition and everyone admires it. I also got a HopnPop, pram, door bouncer, baby gym, Primo Papa Highchair for bargain prices. I got my carseat and buggy (Maclaren) from Kiddicare for a good price. There are loads of offers and everything is normally in great condition as it is often only used for a few months. I found that if you do a bit of research on what you want, you can generally pick exactly what you want up in no time at all.

I know that it can be nice to get new things when it is your first baby, but to be honest they are soo expensive, and if you mix and match some new and old, you can afford to get better quality of items.
