Powergen bail out now

I've left Powergen for London Electric, yet powergen still decided to collect my direct debits, then will not re-credit my bank as they have cancelled the direct debit, it will either take a month for a direct debit to be set up or I have to get sent a cheque.

This company has been nothing more than a nightmare to deal with since I moved to them 2 years back. I will be glad when I get my cheque and finally see the back of these guys.

There customer service department is nothing more than a joke.

I agree, as an ex-Amerada (electricity) & ex-TXU (gas) customer, Powergen, following takeovers of both, refused to let me join their online dual fuel deal. My attempt to move from Powergen to Scottish Power took over a year. In the end however, Powergen gave me a GBP200 refund, so all those calls/letters/time were compensated.
