Anybody used The Motorhouse

I am looking to buy a 2-3 year old Ford Focus in the next month and have been looking about for the best price.

TheMotorhouse car supermarket seems cheap but I am a bit worried by the fact you cant take the cars for a test drive.

Does anybody have any recent experience with TheMotorhouse? Are they any good or should I pay a bit more and go to a dealer?

Forgot to say - my budget will be around 7-8k and I will have a 1k deposit.

    Do Motorhouse offer competitive finance?

I would not even consider buying a car from any company that would not allow a test drive.

What have they got to hide?

Thats what worries me but they do look very cheap and some cars are low mileage too.

They say they dont allow test drives because the cards are so crammed in it would be too much hassle. Thats why I wanted to know if anyone has had a bad experience with them.

I could test drive a similar model at another garage, plus they let you have the keys too start the car up. Still, a test drive would be preffered.
  • go elsewhere, if they are that rubbish before you buy the car imagine what they would be like afterwards

    True...

I will take another look around but its just that the prices seem so good I could get a newer, lower mileage car for the same money as a dealer. Plus they are very local to me.

I was hoping someone would just say they were great to put my mind at rest then I could go pick one out when I get the cash.

Are all Car Supermarkets the same (i.e. no test drives) or is it just this company?
