Thanks for the link, that's all I want something to tell the time, I want one for DS1 who just started secondary school.
Judging by their offers I think I might go there tomorrow instead!
In Argos today, they had loads of really nice watchs by the till for 5 quid! Was tempted but have asked DH for a watch for Christmas so had to resist. HTH“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0 -

how much cheaper is lidl compared to tescos?
Like say you could get 50 quid in tescos with 10 quid of Spend and saves. would the same gear in lidl be less than 40 quid ?
Defintely - refer back to some prices I posted yesterday and it may give you a bit of an idea.
Also in the 'reducing the cost of shopping challenge' it might be worth peeps looking at the Lidl home page - they have a brilliant section for reasonably priced recipes by Nick Nairn and some of them sound wonderful. Check it out for yourselves - :beer:0 -
Just back from 2 weeks of lovely sun in Lanzarote and not only a new thread & pages and pages still to read but the latest news on Mr T! It hadn't made the breaking news on Sky TV out there!
Went to my Waitrose wondering if they had also altered their policy but still taking any vouchers I have - just hoping they don't join Mr T.
Bought their Waitrose Food Illustrated magazine again this month as good read for £1 and found this moc
p17 Onken big pot yogurt for £1 valid until 30/11/09
NSS 9 913521 502587
Also has the voucher for money back guarantee for Twinings everyday tea.
Hope this puts a smile on some of your faces.
***Whoops just amended above info - need to get some new specs - not £1 moc but yogurt for £1. MOC only worth 25p. Hope no-one has already rushed out to buy magazine.0 -

I have just bought in Asda a stainless steel slow cooker with removable ceramic pot with glass lid for £7.00. (was £15.00 on Saturday)
There were two pallets of them so I imagine the deal will be around for a while.
I'm thinking stew and dumplings, sausage hot pot, winter soup
any more ideas?
