i for one will keep on collecting my coupons in the hope that things may change.

It seems you may as well use them up if you can by buying the products.

According to this news item, the change in policy is permanent:

Tesco has permanently banned shoppers from using vouchers for the wrong item.

Thanks PC for all your hard work on this and everyone who has ever managed to discover a coupon before anyone else, whenever I thought I had, I logged on and saw it proudly displayed in BLUE!

Please keep the thread open, as new coupons are still out there, and saving money on products we already purchase well until I discovered this board last year I never knew it was possible.

I will certainly be using coupons and conditional spends on products I have bought and it was good while it lasted.

Lots of peeps seem to be falling out and spraying blame for the loss of the coupon policy. Like blaming the chap who posted the pedigree coupon - don`t shoot the messenger!
    Heres where the blame lies.
    1. Tesco not having a national policy that was implemented firmly, clearly, nationally and in every store. Local discretion, this grey blurring, led to clots of trouts and paralytic confusion when the pedigree coupon engourged masses converged.
No clarity led to panic, confusion and bans. Don`t blame each other - the fault is TESCUMS,TESCUMS,TESCUMS

how much cheaper is lidl compared to tescos?

Like say you could get 50 quid in tescos with 10 quid of Spend and saves. would the same gear in lidl be less than 40 quid ?

LIDLs do a lot of specials, sign up for their email. Last week their lasange was £2 for a kilo portion, Tescum do one for a similar price. The LIDL one was gorgeous, Tescums looked like bird poo and tasted like slop.
