My local Tesco is once again checking all coupons.
I have only a small amount of MOC's inc FT and Guardian (which are day sensitive) pik a pak, occassional moc in post and a coupon net if I'm lucky so it makes sense for me to go in every day, and pay under a pound for my shopping.
I am well above the radar as I have been using coupons for at least 9 months now.
I have read the national policy over and over again and nowhere does it mention that what I am doing is wrong.
Yes I know I am being talked about amongst the staff, the CA person said yesterday in front of the supervisor that was checking my coupons, that she thought all coupons should be stopped "as it was taking the mick".
Note to myself - must grow a thicker skin and step up the search to find more coupons.0 -

Think I need help :eek::eek::eek:
Just been to the Doctors and found a 50p NSS coupon in one of the magazines. Couldn't stop myself from ripping it out & putting it in my handbag. If that wasn't bad enough, I was considering getting hold of a pair of small scissors for future occasions!
Is there a Coupons Anonymous Group I can join please:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

mine does too hun. theres a pretty even divide in team leaders who think the policy is great and those who don't, one in particular calls it 'theft'. cheeky cow, she even said it to me. i said to her 'thats ok, i'll just carry on paying about a quarter of the price of my shopping, you keep your morals and keep on paying full price for yours' while she scowled. me and her never got on very well anyway (both staff there)Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -
Thanks for the new thread again. Starting to feel a bit worried about some of the posts that have started popping up regarding the amount of coupon use in some of the stores. I've got a funny feeling that T's are going to really start clamping down soon as it looks like there is some level of abuse going on. It's such a pity that people have to start spoiling a good thing. Sorry, rant over.0

MsConfused wrote: »Thanks for your reply. I think I will give it a try when I next go. I think it just seems a little morally wrong in my head which is what's stopping me, but I also agree with what you're saying that as long as I stick to their rules then everyone should be happy. The long queues are still annoying though!
haha your morals go out the window if you do this alot!!! at the end of the day it is their policy (tescos), they created it, the manufacturer's know the policy, we are just following it. as someone else said, stick to the rules the best you can do and you can hold your head high, even when other people make their disapproval very obvious! I say stuff them!Won't buy nuffink without a discount0 -

If there is can I join too please.
I was sat in the waiting room at the hospital a couple of weeks ago and decided to look at the magazines. First mag I picked up had a couple of moc in, I hesitated as I wanted to rip them out but managed to resist and put the mag down.
Luckily I got called in a couple of minutes later otherwise I might not have held out.
I should add the waiting room was quite crowded so everyone would have spotted me had I took the moc's.
