  • Hello crabby sa. It's been a long sad day for all couponers. I for one will defend mad to the hilt as I've read his posts for months and can vouch that he's one of the good guys. As today has been a rollercoaster of bad news as the new Tesco policy has unfolded, we are all a bit stressed out. So please don't take offense. Are u really a crabby sa? What are your views on the current situation at Tesco? Your opinion is valued, especially if u r Tesco staff. Apologies for typos - posting from iPhone for which I can now nolonger afford the monthly contract fees.
Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional :p
  • hi hillybilly...thankfully i am not an SA at tesco....used to be one at Boots...unfortunatly mad doesnt come over as one of the good guys when he is rude to other posters just coz he either doesnt "know" them or doesnt agree with them

Just to lighten the mood a bit, here's a joke, not as good as the ones on the drivel thead posted by gill and others but I think it has to be a bit tamer on here ;):D
    Funny Supermarket Story
My new friend, Lorna, was the person in front of me at the Tesco Extra supermarket checkout counter in North Harbour, Portsmouth. Having forgotten her credit card, Lorna had written out a cheque for her purchases and was waiting for the cashier to complete the transaction.
The cashier was a fine looking young man named Richard, [according to his name badge] and instead of dealing with Lorna promptly cited 'company policy' - he asked Lorna for proof of identity.
Lorna was flabbergasted and looked totally astounded. Eventually she managed to squeak, 'But Richard, I'm your mother.'
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I've just remembered I've also £25 on Tesco giftcards that head office sent me by way of apology for my local 'extra' refusing my spend and save coupons :rotfl:

£25!! You were so lucky or was i robbed?
I have written 2 letters about 2 seperate things and neceived nothing just a note saying we will pass on your conocerns to the store manager!!

    1) incident was only a few weeks back when in my store they filled the very top shelves 4 tins high and about 24 tins on every shelf of quality street, celebrations, heroes ect, I was walking down the isle when one of the top shelves collapsed and all the tins came crashing down!! it frightened me to death and i was so lucky not to have been seriously hurt or even killed (they are very heavy and falling from such a hight)!!!

and all i got was we will pass your concerns on! what a bl**dy joke!
