Hope you are all having a great time at the food show .
I am sure some of the MOC will be useful as purchases or swapsies. Either way cheers from me for all the help & fun I had during the MOC heyday.
Went into T twice today to stock up on Domestos. OH went in tonight but only allowed to buy 10 so gave a stash of MOC to the lady behind him who thought he had a cleaning OCD ( she told him this outside) He told her the 50p deal finished tonight so she plonked her stuff in the car & raced, literally, back in to max out on the MOC.

Really ought to try & keep up on here as offers with MOC we can use have passed me by. Must try harder, not to self.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Well Blue has finally kinda got sorted for the GFS:j:j
I have my hotel room booked for 2 nights in Birmingham and my go go hamster (which I am taking for everyone to see but not touch, it's too precious as PC will tell you) has taken his car sickness tablets.
I will text those that I have received no's from as soon as I get there (after I have got my drink from the bar anyway). I will also have my lappy and dongle.
Who is going to be the first to try their coupons at the nearest Birmingham Tesco and tell all to everyone else or are we going together:eek::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, see you all there and for those who aren't going TOUGH:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Nearly dropped the mag in shock, because I have never seen any coupons in it before.
    What's On TV- 47p
    P40
    £1 off Ristorante Pizza's
NSS (though it does say now available exclusively at Iceland in part of the advert, but I think that is just one of the flavours).
    Expires 31/01/2010

These pizzas are on offer in Sainsbury's for £1.16, so if you buy the mag anyway, you get a pizza for 16p:j:j003737.jpg003738.jpg
    £1.16
    (31.8p / 100g)
Dr. Oetker Ristorante Funghi Pizza (365g)

    £1.16
    (34.6p / 100g)
Dr. Oetker Ristorante Mozzarella Pizza (335g)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Morning all - enjoy your time at the GFS all those of you who are there.
I can confirm our local T's takes LIDL no problem. F-in-L used 2 yesterday without a blink.
OH going today - may spend enough to use 1. We are still doing loads of shopping elsewhere :D!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • I still go to Tesco occasionally, when it suits me for some reason. LIke buying vitamins on 3 for 2 and using 100 points coupons. PLus Mr T must miss me as I am getting till spits again and some of them are actually useful!

Not hard to figure out why I shop elsewhere now though, when I came out of Morrisons having only spent £12 last night, and that included 4 selection packs, 3 packs of shortbread, 4 tubs of Clover, plus a hot cooked chicken and a watermelon, and a load of other brilliant reductions.
So your answer don’t be scared of failure

    Good morning everyone.

I have had a reply from Tesco following my stores refusal to accept competitor conditional spend coupons.

    The reply is as follows:-

    Dear ....

Thank you for your email addressed to Sir Terry Leahy , our Chief Executive to which I have been asked to reply.

I was very sorry to hear about the problems that you have experienced when trying to use your competitor conditional spend coupons at our ........store.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the disappointment that this has caused you.

I can confirm that providing you have spent the amount stated on the coupons to qualify for the discount, our staff should be accepting these coupons from you. For example to get the discount from the two £5.00 off £30.00 spends at Waitrose, you would have to spend £60.00 or over to redeem both. However if it is stated on the coupon that only one can be used per transaction, we would only accept one for a spend over £30.00. I am very sorry if this has not been the case recently.

I would like to assure you that I have asked Mr ........, our Store Manager to make sure that all of his staff are aware of our current policy to prevent any confusion in future.

Once again, I am very sorry for the disappointment that this has caused you.

    Kind regard

    Denise Elder
    Customer Services Executive

    25th November 2009.

I have been to Tesco and used 2 x £5 Lidl coupons and a printable coupon with virtually no problem. (just a very young SA who checked what he could accept)

Hope someone else can find the above useful.

    CW:)
