Phew, this bargain hunting is hard work!! Just got back with all my bargains.
Had to drive to Tesco 9 miles away to collect refurbished Ipod for DD's Xmas pressie. Only £87 and got points and cashback from Topcashback. And it comes with a 12 month warranty.
On the way stopped off at Waitys to use up some MOCs and found Body form panty liners with the £10 lipgloss reduced to just 67p. So got about 8 packets. Also saw the Cholula hot sauce with a 50p coupon on its neck inviting you to tear this off and use at the checkout.
While in Tesco picked up £6.99 bottle of wine but used 150 point till spit and 50 point clubcard voucher. Then used my 5p off a litre at the petrol station. Also got The Sun for the free wine at the Coop.
Then back via Waitys again to use a few more MOC's and to WH Smiths next door to get my £15 iTunes Card for £10 courtesy of The Star. Plus my free fluffy Penguin, which is huge and will make a lovely pressie for someone.:j
Only downside was that I printed out the Domestos coupons this morning to try as my local Mr T won't take them and left them at home.
Then got home to find the voucher for the free Mince pies from Waitys so guess I'll be making another trip soon! Happy days!

Anyone else won twice on the Mccain chip comp apart from me and m4rtin?

I have won twice on the Mccain chip comp but I went to my usual Tesco today to use my second coupon plus three domestos coupons and was made to feel like a criminal. Checkout female called a supervisor and I was told they did not accept coupons starting with a 9 ! When I pointed out that the domestos ones stated at the top that it was redeemable in Tesco the supervisor said "just because it says Tesco means it is stocked in Tesco not that we will definately take the coupon!" I then said that the Mccains was a competition win and had one before which had been accepted no problem ten days ago. Top brass were due in today as the store has been extended and the staff were all jumping through hoops to have it all immaculate for them coming. So after a lengthy discussion I said "I see top management are in today so I will just go and have a word with them after I've put all my shopping back on the shelves". Supervisor then said he would take them this time but they get into trouble if the store can't claim the money back. RESULT!!

Comping is well worth doing!!! I haven't won all the great stuff bully has but I have won some pretty good stuff, 2 x mobile phones, £550 worth of dvd's plus other dvd's, a play station 2, lots of books (mostly children's), potting soil, Easi-yo yogurt maker, Baby station, Peppa Pig Trike, Watch (still waiting for:mad:), Tee-shirts, a big box of dental stuff from Tesco, batteries, loads of Mars balls and more but that's just what comes to mind at the moment. I still have the Baby station and Peppa pig that I'd like to sell if anyone is interested.

Was there a voucher in the Star for the iTunes card?

I specially went to Smiths to get my subscription Times to buy the iTunes card but was told that the offer on this was tomorrow not today. Haven't looked fully through the Times yet to check if there is anything about this.

Its just a thought but I think it may be an idea to give a thought to bargains at Wilkinsons. As I can only visit W on Sats I havent had much chance to put this to practice, however last Sat I managed to use 4 x Clover on 2 x 250gm tubs of Clover. This was not really a bargain because at time I didnt know how much these tubs were normally and so was charged 2 x £1.30 minus the 4 coupons. However the point I am making is that the young male cashier totalled the coupons (£1.20) and deducted this from the bill.

A few weeks ago I used 2 Airwick coupons on the same Airwick product.

Cif was priced at £2.57 but would be worth watching should it go on offer. Has anyone noticed any other bargains?

Clover on offer at morrisons £1.00 per tub - less the 30p coupon = 70p
