    Hi guys,

I have been an active couponer now for 18 months and then I came back from holiday to find they are no longer accepted at T's.

It's been 3 weeks and I really am struggling with the new financial strain, and the subsequent stress, or shopping.

Was wondering what you guys are now doing to cut back costs?

I've started to print the free Candia milk coupons. I don't really like long-life milk but I've found that if I mix it with regular milk it doesn't taste or smell like long-life and that way I get more milk for less. Also stopped buying steak. We are back to cheap meat.

  • Sad new from me ... My Mum died last night. She fell 2 weeks ago and broke her hip, had an operation to screw things back in place. The screw fell out of place and she had to have another operation, but at 95 don't think her heart could take the strain bless her.

    What awful news SF
rest assured all us couponners are thinking of you and your family at this sad time.

    take care xx

My morrisons say they don't take internet coupons or printed coupons so left them to reshelf the rustlers.Offer included all the ones on the coupon.
Does anyone have the official policy for morrisons?[
QUOTE=claire21;27020623]I forgot to add in Morrisons yesterday they sold Rustlers burgers (tesco dont seem to do them anymore). They did have some types for 99p but cant remember which ones to know if they are compatible with the BOGOF voucher on page 1.[/QUOTE]

    Hi sher

have you tried going to supermarkets near to closing. I have had some huge bargains doing this.

Went to Tesco last Sunday about 2 hours before closing and got 3 x £4 gammon joints for 50p each. 2 chicken breast portions 40p instead of £2.50. As well as reduced bread, biscuits, veg, and even a lemon meringue cake reduced from £2.50 I think, to 20p.

I also went to Asda one night and they had reduced some things as well got a fresh chicken reduced to 40p.

    happy bargain hunting

How's your son Gill? Did he get to go home? Hope it wasn't/isn't anything serious!! I have to go to the Specialist this afternoon to find out what he wants to do about my carpal tunnel (got it in both wrists). I'm gonna tell him I want it operated on but only if I can go home the same day as local hospital is filthy and the less time I have to be there the better. Not really keen to even have an operation at that hospital as it is so dirty! I thought about taking some of my bleach for them to clean the place with!;)

Tuborg has now finished....no extensions to the date

Just as well as the Sainsbury's near me are pretty much out of stock! I went to Ambelcote yesterday to use 10 coupons but they were all out. The very nice girl I asked to check in the back also checked the computer and so I ended up driving over to Oldbury (rush hour traffic too:eek:). I had just over £55 worth of stuff for £1! I should have paid £6 but the guy put through 4 of the Whiskas Temptation coupons twice then he gave me back 6 of them (I had 10 of those coupons) I did try to tell him but he was sure he was right so I didn't argue, I did walk pretty fast out of the store though!!;)
