I had coupon withdrawal symptoms from Ts , after their sudden change in coupon policy , so can well appreciate your feelings. At one stage I used to shop there almost daily .
Now I'm finding that I'm spending less by not going in supermarkets so often ! I do a main shop once a week , usually in Morrisons . I get petrol there too and add points to my card that will eventually give me a £5 free voucher to use in the store.
Otherwise I get smaller amounts where the bargains are . I use frozen chicken portions instead of fresh for casseroles etc. They can be quite cheap , especially in the frozen food type shops.
I try and make meals from ingredients that I already have , either in the cupboards or in the freezer. Delving into my freezer produces suprises !
I regularly make a big pan of homemade soup, which is the basis for our weekend lunches. I use up any leftovers of anything suitable and it can cost virtually nothing to make . It never turns out the same way twice !!
I don't use gallons of bleach so I'm not stocking up on that like Mad !

Anyone else won twice on the Mccain chip comp apart from me and m4rtin?
Going to T's and thought I'd get the chips but am informed by couponnet already printed...rung mccains customer service and they are getting back to me later....says in T&C's can enter once a week..I sppose I could print via laptop, but that won't solve problm if I win again, so as it was free phone call thought I'd try and get explanation from them...
Hope my good luck vibes are still working for all you newbie compers and you are all still trying your luck ...I finally won a dish on the Peroni comp this morning....

Sounds similar to my Mum who died at half term last month, after a couple of weeks of falls. She was a bit younger than your Mum but with all sorts of health problems and a bad heart, she couldn't take the strain either.

I wish you well, draw together as a family and talk about your Mum with love. As a family we are coping OK, some days are very sad and others are normal and happy. I am grateful my Mum wasn't in pain or suffering at the end and was talking and aware of family visitors on her last day.

Hi, yes i have had the same problem. I left feedback on couponnet, but am still waiting to print my second win :rolleyes: Never thought to call Mccains, will do so later.

Thanks for that, makes me feel better knowing it's not just me....I'm not all that techie as VC and m4rtin will tell you, but sometimes I think I must be doing something wrong...have contacted couponnet now as well....let's hope we get extra mocs for our trouble....but no idea where I'd put the chips!!! NO..don't tell me !!!

Moi's post #3558 will make your page need scrolling if you have MSE in a smaller window (like I do). It's on page 84 (if you are on 40 posts to a page) so it's gone back to 'normal' for me now. The Colgate image is also too big if you are on a lower screen resolution - it's 958 pixels wide!
