    Thanks to numpty on PTS...

    click this below
    http://e-edition.metro.co.uk/home.html

click on the newspaper in the centre of the screen, another page will load!

On this page on the top right you will see a print icon next to the eye glass, click on it!

It will load every page as a thumb nail, click on page 38

Then click print bottom right just below it smile.gif
You should get a print box, so click okay and it should work!

    ....................................................................

    Thanks to arniep on PTS...

For printing a really clear version.

Go to pdf, select page and save to harddrive

open in acrobat, and use select and zoom, snapshot tool
Select only the coupon. This will now say it's copied and leave the area highlighted. Close the pop up box.
While it's still highlighted go to print and print with no page scaling.

This should mean that you print only the coupon and not the whole page, it comes out really clear in the middle of the page.

    Hi Guys
This may have originally come from "numpty" but think I must be the one who's a numpty because all I get from following this is an advert for Argos?!!!
    .....
sussed it - this is for a £5 off £30 conditional spend coupon at Waitrose valid until 5 November. It's from the Metro dated 29 October, so before clicking on the newspaper you need to go to the bottom of the page and select the 29 October.
Thanks for posting it Jax - great find.

but the ones I get sent are more - you will die or someone close to you will or get an incurable illness etc as for the man of my dreams- been there done that:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:only looking for friendship :D

I'm afraid that if I had e-mails like that and wanted to remain in contact with the person forwarding them, I'd ask them politely to consider whether they really want to forward such things, and if they do, to not bother to send them to me.
    :o

I must admit, I delete far more forwards than I ever send on further afield, lol.

I saw on here and mysupermarket last week that Asda had beef joints at half price but no sign in my Asda at all - I picked up 2 lamb shanks reduced from £5.90 to £3.90 (lovely in slow cooker, had mine years:D),lamb mince reduced to half price £1.60, sausages half price at 50p a pack of eight, vine toms at £1 kg,and croft sherry at £6 litre instead of £9.97 :D
never got bargains like that in T and with only 5 coupons anyway saved more than my usual £2.50-£3
I did ask about 5% discount if you buy 6 bottle of wine/sherry but was told that they stopped doing that ages ago - but T and Sainsbury (not sherry in S)still give that offer so it's not worth buying wine there - does anyone know if Morrisons offer the 5% if you buy 6 bottle of wine please? I forgot to look when I was i there last time

Although they may not offer a 5% on 6 bottles deal, they do have a very nice Lindemans Tollana Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon in there 3 for £10 offer, which is £7.98 for a single bottle.

    Hi,
There was a £5 off £30 in the Metro Thurs 29th. I didn't manage to get one but read on PTS that it could be printed off from the e-edition. So, printed this today and off i went to Tesco's with the Sun's £5 off Somerfield also (in today's). Got both of them taken together with FF £2.50.

    £5 Waitrose e-edition expires 5/11

    HTH jax

After 4 weeks abstinence :T, I popped into my local Mr T's yesterday  as I had some Warbies coupons about to expire .
Used coupons for fish fingers, princes juice, Anchor spreadable, mullerlight yoghurts, muller fruit corners, and the Sun coupon for fruitiser. Then got some fairy platinum using coupons from fairy w up liquid (£1.39 after coupon) and lots more Badger Ales all with more coupon codes on them.:beer::beer::beer:
I put all my coupon items at the front of the belt and showed the SA each coupon as she put the items through. When she totalled the transaction, I gave her my Somerfield £5 off £30 coupon first, but she said they didn't take them
Asked her to check with a supervisor, who also said no  and immediately pounced on my pile of coupons, whereupon I smiled sweetly :p :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and told him that the SA had already checked them all against the products that I had brought.
I also told him that I would be sending my receipt and Somerfield coupon off to head office for a refund.

He then told me that they only take Asda, Sainsburys and ..............Waitrose :T :T :T

I immediately produced a Metro Waitrose coupon following the tip from PTS and said "that'll do nicely then!" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mad, popped into Waitys yesterday just before closing to grab some cheap bread rolls (yummy) and was told now taking only 6 coupons, have you heard the same?

Only ever use about 4 or 5 so as to "stay under the radar". I can do quite a few shops there now as it's so close. Went into Waity's last night too around sevenish. Got four poppy seed knot rolls @ 5p each :T:T
Checked me receipt and at the bottom it had

    ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18

    So I paid a ha'penny a roll :rotfl::rotfl:

OMG :T I have just looked at my Waity's receipt. I didn't realise that multisaves still worked on reduced items :j and there was me thinking I had got a good bargain paying £1 for rolls that would normally cost £5.50!

I cleared out the poppy seed roll tray by buying 20 @5p each......

    less ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18
    ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18
    ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18
    ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18
    ** Rolls 4 for £1.10 ** -0.18

so I only paid 10p for 20 (really scrummy) rolls :j:j:j

I actually used a couple of Hovis coupons for free bread and some Badger coupons off some beer so only one coupon (Warbies 30p) was for something I hadn't bought. I am also wary of upsetting the coupon policy in our fab new store, so will be seeing you under the 'radar' :rotfl::rotfl:

Can anyone please pm me with the Lichfield Waitrose coupon policy?

I rang the store yesterday to ask what the current policy is. They had been quite good for accepting vouchers, but I don’t go very often as it’s quite a distance from where I live and I haven’t been since Tesco stopped accepting them.

I spoke to a woman who wanted to know what I understood about the policy and when I told her she said that you had to buy the product to get the voucher accepted. I asked when the policy had been changed, but she wouldn’t give me a straight answer. I suspect that she is is making up what she thinks the policy should be, not what it is.

If anyone knows and can pm me I’d be really grateful. I’ve got a few good vouchers left from before the end of Tesco and had thought to do a shop there, but it not all that near to where I live so I don’t want to go over on a fool’s errand. Thanks in advance.
