Swan ventured into T's today, Mrs fancied a £9 finest meal deal and I had some points coupons I wanted to use up....

I handed over my points coupons and 4 other Mocs, 2 for products I'd bought and 2 I had not and the lad scanned the lot no bother!!

I also noted that the yellow notices about moc use had been removed, so may be T's are stealthily easing their policy again...:D

    well done swan!

i wonder though, even if they do ease up their policy, will they bother training their staff about it..........as past experiences have revealed most of the staff in my local t's did not have a clue on the old policy up to management level.....and they could have made it crystal clear to all if they wanted. funny how they ALL suddenly know the new policy since 02/10........

anyway, i admit i have popped in for the odd bargain (a new lad accepted all my mocs too), but venturing outside of t's has been really good. asda, sainsbury's give exceptional customer service, and their stores are much cleaner i find - they really do go the extra mile!!!

Asda have a great offer - pack of 4 jacket potatoes on offer, 20p a bag, limited to 3 per person. Long Best Before date too!

Not sure if the offer is still on [was on Wednesday] but Morrisons have been doing a 1.5kg bag of baking potatoes for 30p - 5-6 spuds in each.

I ticked the remember me box so that I am automatically remembered and don't have to log in but now i can't log off and couldn't find out how do it the faqs - a friend wants to 'borrow' the use of my computer but I don't want her to come one here as babyj3 - I want her to use her own log in name but can't work out how to do it.She thinks I am making excuses not to let her use my comp. but I'm not, I would be quite happy to let her use as I have in the past - she can't afford a comp/broadband and as VC says its' nice to be nice
    Any suggestions please:confused:

I've played about with this tonight [as I'd never normally tick remember me on anything] and as far as I can see, as long as I click Log Out before closing the page, it doesn't remember me. It only remembers you if you close the page without logging out, as far as I can see. HTH.

I will try that in future as I do get a lot of forwarded messages from friends with amusing poems etc although there is always a message showing 'no virus detected' in my mail box so I have assumed that my mal provider has virus checked for me as well as my own security software but I have one friend who keeps sending me chain e-mails usually with the underlying message that if I don't forward to everyone I know something nasty will happen to me or someone i love - I don't believe them but I don't like getting them either and have always wondered if there is some sort of virus attached that the usual software can't detect .I don't open them any more and i never open e-mails from anyone I don't recognise for fear of letting a virus through:o

These are annoying, but some people are upset by them. If I have a mail like this with something I do actually feel I want to forward, then I do so, but delete the "forward this within 2 minutes to12 people, or you will never meet the man of your deams" type of line.

I'm not as techie as VC and M4tin, but I doubt you are in too much danger of getting a virus from these mails if you have decent security/anti virus. Just never click on any links within e-mails unless you are 110% sure they are ok.

Me too got lego with £10 off glitch - says on box i'm too old to play with it though :D

First visit to T's since ban today (was taking mum for microwave she wanted with £5 off coupon and her clubcard points).

Remembered reading about the fairy £2 coupons, so bought two and got the dishwasher tablets. Got home and cashier had only put one coupon through, not the two i handed over.

Same old Tesco - still do your head in
