Morning Mad and everyone else. Had a great time in London thanks. Still catching up with the thread :rotfl:
Went to Morrisons yesterday for a big shop and only spent £60+ with £5 NOTW voucher, free bread and Plenty MOC's used with no problems.

Whether this is true or not, it is better to be safe than sorry:-

    Hi All,

I checked with Norton Anti-Virus, and they are gearing up for this virus!
I checked Snopes, and it is for real. Get this E-mail message sent around to your contacts ASAP.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,'regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer.

This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN.

It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

COPY THIS E-MAIL, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS.
REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US

Which if you arent clever enough to realise.... is a chain email in itself... any mail that requests you forward to 25 other people etc etc... is suspicious lol.

Also you can tell by the wording that someone without a 'good' knowledge of pcs wrote it... 'burn' your hard drive? i think he means format.... and you might run windows and store things on your 'D' drive... not just C lol.

If you gonna write one of these things at least make it convincing lol.
  • Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but on couponnet there is an ad for energiser torches (be safe, be seen) on the right hand side of the printable coupon page. If you scan down to the bottom of the ad there is a red clickable £1 coupon box. It let me print 1 :rotfl: even though the coupon is also on page 2 of the printable coupons, where it says that I have reached the print limit.[/QUOTE]

Just checking the bounty couponnet site and I clicked on this again and it let me have another one :T

Also from newspaper thread, look out for £5 off £30 spend at Waitrose in todays Metro valid til 5th Nov :T

No hate mail please, been to T's...they have large boxes of Thorntons chocs for £6( half price, 600gm)and their own brand ones (500gm) £3 to clear...I did buy them the other week with mocs( remember the good old days?) we've already eaten 1 box, so replaced that, mainly soft centres... and bought another Thorntons as a prezzie.Used a £2.50 F/Foods and a £5 Morrisons and £4 Pinecone, plus 2 x 30p Philadelphia , the moc was for 200gm size which is on offer at £1 at the moment , so got 1 with chives and 1 with garlic and herbs, also used Hovis, so still saved £13.24 ...went to a SA who used to scrutinise mocs and I know she hated taking them, she said she could see I had mocs ready, yes I said, I love my coupons...she smirked as she thought she was going to tell me something I didn't know....when she had finished scanning I handed them over and before she could say a word I said...I've bought all the products..and you can take both the F/Food and the Morrisons, so Im saving quite a bit today, ...that wiped the smile off her face.!!!

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well. So sorry to hear of your loss Coupon Mad xxxxxxxx

I still have not been to Tesco. Nor has OH. It is very hard as I do like Tesco but I am sure I am saving more money as I am not tempted to buy other items that I do not need IFYWIM?

Did a fully planned listed shop yesterday at Sainsbury's and spent £53.00, no coupons/MOCS and gained a 5p petrol voucher which went to OH for a full tank of fuel. So money saved there and a full fridge.

Went to Morrisons today and used £5 NOTW coupon plus a Rustlers coupon (on offer at £1 at the moment) plus 30p McCain Smiles (on offer at £1) plus free Hovis. Got 3 x 26 packs Walkers crisps @£2 each plus fresh chicken thighs (which I always buy anyway) with free Blue Dragon sauce mix (worth 47p) on each packet plus Delicia pizza for £1 and carrots for 30p. So quite a happy bunny today!
