Well looks as though Waitrose are being hit. Went to my store today and every coupon was double checked by the supervisor & they are now again restricting number of coupons and value allowed.
Was told they they have been hit with duff coupons and duff CASH so not surprising.0 -
my waitrose checks all coupons first... always has done it seems. I have to hand them in to front desk, who hand it to checkout supervisor to personally check who then give it to SA... if there any discrepencies they tell me etc.
It seems easier way to stop fakers imo... aint had any problem personally. Oh and mine has a 3 per transaction limit lol... so its not worth a great deal but every bit helps..0 -

Interesting that each branch seems to have their own rules.
I'm all in favour of stopping fakers, but hope that mine come up with a definite ruling as today it seemed they weren't too sure of what the restrictions were. Earlier in the week I had been told they were going to introduce only 3 of any one coupon but still no limit on spend. Just hope that that is what they settle for.0 -

:mad: It appears that there are people abusing the system again then. No doubt there will be a few new members soon then when waitys (the final place with a few bendy rules) decides to get strict and tighten their belts. Soon it'll be buy the product and 1 coupon per person per £1,000,000 spend.
Well here is what I would like to say and Im sure I speak for many when I say.....
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT ABUSE THE COUPON SYSTEM.
YOU SELFISH SO AND SO's.Hit the thanks button if it helps!:TBANANASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know where to get the cadbury £5 off coupon? My wife works at Tesco and a number of customers have been using these against tins of Roses which are currently £5, hence they get them free!
Regards
If it is not on ebay (selling s**t load of it) then its not fake. I think the person who uses it as 1 off or maybe 2 maximum (if she is lucky), then it came directly from manufacturer as a goodwill gesture for something that she has complaint in past. I had this before from mfg. but not £5 it was £3 in total.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
Please forgive me folks as I have sinned:eek: I have been into Tesco twice today and the first time I actually spent some money:o:o It was a good cause though as I went to get a load of newspapers for some folk at the Hospital. I did think of going to another paper shop, but decided that I didn't want my local paper shop to run out of papers, would much rather Tesco get complaints for not having many left at 9am:p
So do I get forgiven:rotfl::rotfl:
The second time I went in today was because I received my clubcard points and in with them was an "offer" to donate 100 point to Muscular Dystrophy. Has anybody else received thisAnyway, decided to go to checkout and donate 100 points (as will have !!!!er all for the next clubcard payout:o). Unfortunately the till would not let me do it, I think because I didn't want to buy anything except just donate points. If anybody else does this, and does it without buying anything if they could let me know how the sa managed it please.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Morrison's has Princes Paste on special 2 for £1 after using 2 30p coupons it is 40p for both (20p each). Princes Tuna is half price now for 69p after using 30p coupon it's only 39p. Muller Corners are 4 for £2 after using 4 30p coupons it's 80p for 4 (20p each). Muller Light Yogurt is 6 for £3 after using 6 30p coupons it's £1.20 of all 6 (20p each).
I did quite well at Morrison's today, shopping came to £33.70 and ended up paying £12.40 after coupons. It is a shock to my budget though, before Black Friday I didn't spend that much a month so it really hurts to have to pay that much in one shopping trip!:eek: I'm off to M&S tomorrow to spend my £50 worth of vouchers (from The Times masterhead promotion), we're desperate for meat but I'm sure £50 won't buy much meat at M&S.:eek:Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0
