I've been away for a while and it seems that big things have been going on...Mr T's have changed their game. Not very nice of them, but I guess they're actually being responsible now. Are they actually enforcing it properly? Has anyone tried to test the water?0

Does anyone know how this "trial" is going with Tesco? What's the current opinion on it being made permanent?0

Wilkinsons also have Plenty for 97p and guess who left her coupon on the kitchen table!!0

Received this yesterday.
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your email.
I’m sorry to learn of your disappointment that our coupon policy has changed recently. The decision was taken because we experienced abuse of the policy on a massive scale which was unfair to our customers, our suppliers and our staff in having to manage it. We believe that the policy now is more transparent and much fairer.
Despite our change in this policy, I hope you will agree that Tesco still offers great value for money.
I can confirm that our new coupon policy came into effect on 2nd October and is as follows:-
OUR COUPON POLICY
We'll happily accept your coupons if you've bought the product.
This includes Tesco and supplier coupons.
Unfortunately if you haven't bought the product we can't accept the coupon.
We will continue to accept Competitor Conditional Spend Coupons as long as the minimum spend has been met, as well as Healthy Start and Luncheon Vouchers.
Thank you for bringing your views to our attention. Although we have no plans to revert back, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.
Kind regards
Sharon Sparks

Interesting that CS Dundee are coming up with different reasons in each email as to why the policy was pulled so quickly.
The previous one someone posted said 'due to recent media coverage' or something.
Anyway, no Mr T I don't agree that Tesco represents great value for money any more...:p:pPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Had to work later than normal today so on way back called in at a Greene King pub and got my free pint of Old Speckled Hen (MOC from Daily Express on Saturday) - marvellous.
Will be calling in at Sainsbury's later to get some Plenty and some more free bread and free bottle of Shloer - using MOC's of course.
I didn't think I'd be using this many MOC's once Tesco pulled the policy but after a MOC free period it's good to be MOCing again (just a shame you have to actually buy the product :rotfl:)0 -

Managed to use £5.74 of MOC's at Sainsbury's - all for things I bought (free bread, free shloer, Plenty, etc. - I only paid £6. I also found a till receipt with 78 nectar points in my trolley which I duly added to my card at customer services.
Reminds me slightly of the good old days :rotfl:If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
It doesn't seem too much of a hardship having to drink a free pint of Speckled Hen!!!!!!
I also have a MOC for a free pint of Carling at a local hostelry to use before 30th Oct - might just make itIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
