Loads more offers but I didn't have long in the store -I've found this link for offers but it doesn't seem to have them all...

Like I said the other day the Morrisons website is pretty rubbish, they lose out on my business because I don't know what is on offer and it's too far out of my way to go and look (Morrison's please note - Improve your website!!)

Hate to say it but T's IS the best website to see what's what, only problem is you can't change which store you are searching, unless I'm being stupid (VC Chip in....;))
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Apart from Morrison's isn't on for the reasons above, do you use mysupermarket.co.uk ? I find it very useful for comparing different baskets.
Mad about bargains is pretty good too for the 3 main supermarkets but also has Co-op and Somerfield and it may have Tesco's.....

    HI mad,
Yeah they did put the prices up!! i noticed on Friday on my last Shop to T's that the value jelly had gone from 7p up to 18p!!!:eek::eek:

I have not been back to t's since last friday and i wont go again any time soon!

    xx
and by large percentages too perhaps tesco are trying to claw back some of their coupon losses:eek:by putting prices up although at customer service when I commented on the price rises I was told T always increase their prices in the run up to Christmas and that they will most likely come down again in January, nice eh! - I am enjoying shopping around and really like Morrisons:D

well, the whole thing has been billed as a trial and each store had an option as to whether to take part or not...that I know....so i guess at least one store in the entire country didn't take part in the trial!
I can't see them changing it back to be honest. my local have even gone to the extent of make laminated white signs to stick on every till stating the new policy, seems a bit extreme for something temporary. I wonder if it will be manager's discretion again as to whether policy is reverted back.
I have not been to check at my T after I read about coupons being stopped as i thought my store would have stopped them- but think I will check it out as my store only took 5 coupons and like for like so fingers crossed the manager used his discretion to keep the policy as it was - not too hopeful though but will report back after Saturday when I go in

  • I called into the dark side earlier, after first going to Aldi, and getting veg & fruit, just needed one or two more specific things (ok, goats milk, if you must know...) My fav SA was saying that she was as surprised as anyone when Black Friday happened (I don`t think we had much coupon abuse in our store). She reckons that people who tended to use MOC`s are going elsewhere, & that she thought it likely that when the furore died down a bit, then there will be some lifting of the restrictions, as Mr T is being hit in the pocket, so lets keep it up, folks! As mentioned before, I could only ever have 20% max off, but it made shopping there viable- as others have said, shopping around is the best thing for now- who knows, maybe we could get used to it  Bit of a faff, though, I must admit, but maybe, just maybe, we collectively might make a difference to T`s profits :T

Actually I think T's has now completely lost my Saturday shop!! I didn't realise that my A and W were actually closer than my fav T's!! So I now go to them for my bulk shop and just go to T's on a Sunday morning (When they are always fully stocked!) :o to get the extra few bits either not available in the other two or that are much cheaper in T!

The other thing this has highlighted for me is how poor T really are especially for fruit & Veg, staff in W are very courteous and boy have they got wide aisles! A is somewhat more cramped but a good range so better choice and not much more expensive than doing weekly shop in T's using moc's (My W currently take 33% though they may be dropping to 10%) So selective shopping means I still only spending about £40/week for family of four not much more than the amount of cash Mr T used to get off me.....

Gotta say though took loads of T branded stuff back yesterday that was either not wanted (Within 28 days) or was not good enough quality and they gave me my money back no questions asked and although I had them no receipt needed either!

ps Maybe I'm biased but defo seemed quiet yesterday and I know there were only a couple of couponers that use my store.....Keep it up peeps :rotfl:

One thing I am not missing about Tesco is their attitude to customer service, which I think on the whole is appalling. I have been using local shops, and a few other supermarkets, and had forgotten that shopping can actually be enjoyable! I have found many Tesco staff downright rude even when shopping there without coupons. Taking back a faulty product for instance, I have been made to feel like a criminal. I am enjoying life without Tesco.

I totally agree. I think making £3b a year out of us has gone to their heads, and they think they can treat us like muck and we`ll come back for more. After having v poor customer care experiences x2, I won`t.
