bulgariafairy wrote: »hey all, I managed to get hold of the message that was sent to all the stores by tesco head office (friend who works there gave it to me) so here goes:
'Recent media articles informing customers that internet and supplier coupons can be redeemed in large quantities at tesco even if they have not bought the product has led to us making the decision to only accept coupons for products purchased by the customers. This also complies with the terms and conditions written on each coupon'.
says it all I suppose, thought you might like to see.

Thinking about getting a Waitys credit card to collect points if I'm going to be shopping there for a bit. Anyone know of any sign-up offers, cashback etc?0

I'm in shock - have just done my first shopping trip in Waitys. What a fantastic experience. Lovely clean shop, wide aisles, friendly polite staff and no aggro over coupons. :j:j:j
Think I'll drop an email to Sir Terry and tell him what a pleasant experience it was compared to shopping at Mr. T's.
A MAN is the head of the family, the WIFE is the neck. The neck turns the head exactly the way it wants.0 -
I am in the process of writing a letter to big Mr T... this, b4 I get shot, is not due to the recent policy change but due to many incidents taking place @ my local which I felt were way out of order... as always when one used to have coupons as a tender then more 'abusive' behaviour could be seen... I want to highlight my local's failures and the treatment one was subjected to... I will also take the opportunity to thank big T for their Coupon Policy and will attempt to highlight how I manage to get the best prices on the market @ present shopping around and my need NOT to use Tescos for all my essentials/non essentials items... if and I mean a BIG IF this is a some sort of trial period (wishful thinking, maybe?:o:p) customers highlighting how they are moving on since the black Friday will show big T they won't have our business however little impact this may make... also worth mentioning is Waity's coupon acceptance where some are able to use MOCs without purchasing the items... lets see what happens...:o0

Hmmm I'm of the opinion of not rubbing their noses in it on this one because I can see that T 'could' start putting the "moc'ers" (If you'll pardon the pun) on Waity's now that they have gone 'legit'.....Just my opinion, but, sometimes calling a bully names will catch you out one day;)
:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

I phoned up my local t's and asked if they were taking the waitrose spend & save coupons, they said yes. Got the store and when paying was told no, went to cs and they said no too. Does anyone have the address I should send them off with my receipts.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
