Argo's sale stuff rant!!

Good morning all

I have to say I am really anoyed with the argos sale, Its advertising great half price childrens high beds on their website and both on Tv.
I have been looking at these beds since the day the sale started and so far not one single bed they offer in their sale is in stock?????? (I mean every high sleeper?)
Im on their email me list for when they come back into stock but not heard anything so its not like I missed a small stock that sold out?

Sorry its a really silly rant BUT for every childs bed they advertised as being availible in the sale to not be in stock since the day it started seems like false advertising??

There is a grand total of 1 high sleeper in stock, with a whopping £13 off!!!!!
Argos is great as it sells loads of different things and now woollies is gone most people will have to use Argos more. But is it just me or are they sooooooooooo slow at serving? and it's 100 times worse in the run up to Christmas. They take forever to get u served and that's if your lucky enough for your items to be in stock in the first place. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Its clever. They have a few beds half price across the country. They sell out. People decide to get a half price bed. Can't find it. Buy a full price one instead. They are very cleverly tapping into the mindset that everyone wants a bargain.

I agree. How often on the Grabbit board are Argos bargains posted, only for people to find that there are about 3 available in the whole country? It seems to be a definite ploy to promote interest, much like when certain stores like Sports Direct have 70% off sales all the time.

Not surprised they're all still in stock, they're bloody horrible bits of kit.

If you would care to read my post again I was discusing the High sleepers as listed on the advert NOT the low and mid beds you have shown.
if you care to do a search on the product I was discusing then offer your half pennys worth of how wrong I am.

A High sleeper is a high bed with wardrobs underneith FEEL FREE TO FIND THEM IN STOCK!!! (with the exception of the £560 ones which are not on their adverts )

I rarely buy anything in Argos, but if I do, I always check the stock levels.

If its the last one in the store, its generally returned from a previous customer for a fault, or has been opened up, had a few bits removed, and sealed back up (badly).

Customer Service is terrible there as well. Anything wrong with a product is always your fault or "What did you expect, it was only x pounds"

Me - I'd go to Ikea every time (I haven't searched their website for your high sleeper to see if they have one - but the things we buy there are always good quality and a fair price)

I looked at Ikea 1st and they just dont have one :-(

The anoying thing is that the ones from Argos are all over ebay lol. Im only going through argos as they offer any damage insurance an im sure over the next 3 years my son will managed to distroy part of it lol
