Hiya there,
I was wondering if it is possible to use an active desktop or something to put an active i.e. moving or animated background on my desktop?
At the moment I just have Nacho Libre on the desktop which is funny but a little boring - I have a Centrino chipset with Pentium M 2.6Ghz 512MB RAM and 2MB L2 Cache so my laptop should be able to handle things like this...
Cheers

HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
Thanks - it isn't as great as I thought it would be - just messed up my desktop and made it look tacky. I'm sticking with NachoABH wrote:Get Active Desktop

Well, you never know these things untill you try them do you? I seem to recall when it was first launched, there was a NASA page you could link to that gave a revolving earth image from one of their satelites. Or you could choose your country from space etc.
It maybe worth your while looking on the NASA site to see what you can find if that sort of thing interests you.

Looked into NASA but I'll stick with my current desktop for now...
