What happens if a retailer delivers you a new TV but forgets to collect the faulty one?
I have already advised the company that they have not collected the old one, they have not charged me yet, what do i do/or can i do?
They did attempt to collect the TV when they dropped the new one off but it was not packed as they had initially advised the collection/drop would be on different days. I advised them the day after and they said they would send someone the next day but they did not.
Additional Details
What i mean by the old one is, it is a new TV set but it had a fault with it and the company agreed to replace it. They stated they were going to collect it a week ago but nobody showed. I called them and they said they would collect but nobody has collected it yet.
I have only been charged for the one tv but have two.
What do i do/ what are my rights?

Contact them and tell them. If you dont they may well charge you. If you need to send it back it should be at there costs not yours0

Let it go, you have informed them, if they fail to collect in 6 months, take it to a small TV repair shop to be fixed and sell it on0

This happened to me a few years ago with a top of the range computer I ordered from a national store. First one was delivered in a wet box, so I complained. They delivered a 2nd new one a week later & never did collect the one in the wet box! Result0

I have two very expensive shower mixers. The first had a defect in the chrome so that the brass underneath was showing.
I told the supplier, he sent a new one - still waiting (2 years) about what he wants me to do with the other !0 -

Hi,
I might be tempted to send them a letter recorded delivery - saying tv is ready for collection - just so you have prove that you did try & get them to collect ... then wait 6 months before selling / dumping.
