The bookmaker Victor Chandler is giving £1 to the appeal for every bet that is placed between 31st Dec and 6th Jan to the Tsunami appeal. This seems to include bets of less than a pound.
So if you were planning to give £10 to this cause then simply place 20 x 50p bets (total cost of £10 to you) and they will then give 20 x £1 (total donation of £20).
