There are still some relatively cheap advance tickets available for the end of this week from London to Bolton:

    Thurs
    £13.50 - 12.05 or 12.35 change at Manchester Piccadilly

    Fri
    £13.50 - 12.35 only.

These can be booked at https://www.thetrainline.co.uk

    Many thanks!!!

EDIT - booked it, thank you!

  • My advice would be 'Avoid thetrainline.com'!! icon8.gif

I've had to buy quite a few tickets from them for work and so far, out of 6 different sized orders (ranging from £150 - £2000), 4 of them have arrived late! Apparantly, with them 'next day delivery' means 'next day + 1'. Great when you're buying last minute!! Also, their customer service is, as usual, based in India, and you'd get more help from the speaking clock!

    Grrr!!!! icon8.gificon8.gif

Why don't you try using the FastTicket machines to collect the tickets at the station instead of relying on the post? I've always done this and had no problems.

Is this code working for anyone, as it doesn't work for me and I'm buying tickets worth £60+

Yes - it is still working - check that each individual ticket is worth £20+ rather than a combination...
