2. This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion
3. All entries must be received by 28th Feb 2010 at 11:59 pm.
4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
5. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
6. To enter fill in your details on the online entry form found at http://www.penguin.co.uk/earthbound and press “Enter”.
7. All correctly completed eligible entries will be collected by Penguin Books Limited and forwarded to the Promoter for entry into a prize draw which will take place on 1st March 2010. The first entry drawn at random by the Promoter will be the winner who will receive the grand prize. The next ten (10) entries drawn at random will be the runners up who will each receive the second prize.
8. There is one (1) grand prize and ten (10) second prizes available to be won.
9. The grand prize is a trip for two on the Imaginative Traveller “Tanzania Tails” Tour, including air transportation standard (economy) class from the major international airport nearest winner’s residence to Nairobi, accommodations for two chosen at the discretion of Imaginative Traveller, services of Imaginative Traveller tour leader and local guides, and some meals during the tour as outlined in the itinerary. The duration of the tour is for eight (8) days. The itinerary for the tour can be found at http://www.imaginative-traveller.com/trips/gatt/itinerary. All travel and tour arrangements must be made through Imaginative Traveller and/or its appointed agent, and are subject to Promoter’s approval. Any expenses not specifically described as included in the grand prize are excluded. The grand prize does not include: ground and air transportation and transfers to and from the airports, spending money, entrance fees, personal expenses, travel and health insurance, gratuities including tips for the Tour Leader, additional hotel expenses such as telephone calls, upgrades and incidentals, and all applicable taxes. All such expenses on receipt and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Both the prize-winner and chosen companion must be 18 years or over and must travel together. Winner and chosen companion are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas and valid passports for travel to Kenya and Tanzania. The trip must be booked before 30th September 2010. Total approximate retail value of the prize is £2,500 based on sample London, England departure.
10. The second prize is a copy of Earthbound: A Rough Guide to The World in Pictures. Total approximate retail value of each second prize is £20.
11. The prizes, including travel dates and times for the grand prize, are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute an alternative prize of equivalent or greater value, and (b) in exceptional circumstances, to amend or foreclose the Promotion without notice.
12. The winner and runners up will be notified via email or post by 31st March 2010. The winner and runners up must claim their prize within 14 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner or runner up selected in accordance with these rules.

14. Penguin Books Limited and the Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by Penguin Books Limited and the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
15. The winner and runners up agrees to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
16. By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
