Jet2.com Hand luggage Question

I have noticed that the Jet2.com hand luggage maximum sizes allowance are slightly smaller than those of the likes of Easy Jet,therefore our usual hand luggage trolley is about 3cm too long. What I would like to know from people's experience is are they strict with their sizes? Easy Jet have a frame which you have to fit your baggage into to check its within limits, do Jet2 have these?
We have already checked-in online so we will be going straight to the boarding gates, are they strict there? We were going to pay for hold luggage but feel a bit agrieved paying £26 plus credit card charge when we are only going for 3 days :mad:

Have never had hand luggage size checked by Jet2. If you're already checked in then they'll hardly see it anyway: airport security won't know/care which airline you're flying with. The only time you'll see Jet2 people is at the gate as you board. Not impossible they'd check, but I'd be surprised.

The bag size for jet2 is 50x38x26 Which is quite good. We have just come back from spain and not one person looked at our bags.;)
