I am about to get a pension lump sum which will be paid into my SMILE savings account. I was going to transfer it electronically to my ICICI account immediately to get the 5.15%, now I think I will transfer it temporarily to my ING account until 1 August, then move it on into the ICICI account. I am talking £35,000 here so it should be worth a bob or two.

FWIW, at the end of the Ing period, there is no limit on the amount you can transfer out in one day from Ing to elsewhere, as I clarified today with them. Just thinking ahead.

Thanks for the advice every one I've just invested in Cahoot seems a good deal and not one of thse %10 (if you deposit £25 into your account and where born on the 23 rd of august 1917 mercharnts)

This week's Money Tips mentions an introductory rate of 6% until August. I cannot see any reference to this on the ING website, in fact they say "no misleading introductory bonuses'.

Anybody got any information, please?
