Skoda assistance anyone?
My fabia is coming up to 3 years old, and I've had a letter from Skoda offering continuing roadside assistance cover (tied in with RAC) for £89 for a year or £145 for 2 years.
I've not yet had chance to go through the details properly, but it seems to offer roadside, recovery and at home which is what I want.
Anyone know how well this compares to the standard RAC type cover - any major exclusions I need to be aware of, or anything like that?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It pretty much mirrors the standard rate by RAC and AA for similar levels of cover if you buy it retail.
There are cheaper levels of cover which may cover less.
May be worth checking with your insurer as often they offer discount breakdown cover so may save a few pennies with similar level of cover.0 -
Good idea to check the AA and RAC directly as they sometimes have special offers on.
Also check via a cashback site such as quidco.
I have just ordered cover for my skoda fabia vrs for AA Roadside and Recovery/Relay (we don't need home) for £77 but via quidco got £40 cashback. Meaning it was a £37 bargain.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

You can get RAC cover using Tesco clubcard vouchers if you have them so only need 1/4 of the cost in vouchers.

I had a similar letter two years ago from Skoda when my Octavia was 3 years old but mine also offered to extend the warranty at the same time.Cheers
