in Credit cards
Hi there,
I applied for an HSBC credit card which was interest free for 3 months.... interest will go on from Nov this year if I have anything outstanding on it...
However I am paying it all off this week.....its around about £1000.00 not by balance transfer...but with my partners and my own savings....
If once I have paid off my card...really quickly within 3 months without entering the 'interest' phase........would it look ok on my credit rating if I were to take out another interest free credit card...probably with another provider as the HSBC on is through my bank..
The only reason I would like another interest free card is that I am going on a long holiday in Feb of next year and always take a credit card for emergencies....but obviously want an interest free one!!
Just at the min my credit rating is not fantastic as I was out of work last year for two months and had to up my overdraft limit twice...so they hit me with damaging my once exceedingly good credit score!! oh well!
Any advice??
