Hi and welcome.

A SAR (Subject access Request) for a cost of £10 cheque or postal order may be a good start, with this request they must send you everything they still hold on you.

Of course, if you taken these the last few years and if any are still active, you can write a simple letter and enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment, and request they send you a copy of your Agreement (CCA) by 12 days.

Post all letters by recorded delivery, this is your proof of posting.

Sorry just re read your post, you mean how do you find out if you were mis sold lol.

Basically there are many reasons, I would though check this link as also posted above, there is a checklist.
