this alone is a great result, I should think a lot of credit card companies are crying into their tea as a result of this site.
Good afternoon to everyone else. sunny cold and windy here at the minute. I am going to start the washing shortly and put it out early tomorrow because the forecast is good.
looking forward to weekend and going to sunny (hopefully) Mablethorpe. Anyone know if there are any car boot sales nearby?

Hugs ((())) and positive thoughts for you and your mum 2TR, and also for Thrifty's MiL
Glad to say I feel back to my normal self today (at last), thanks for all the good wishes when I was laid low with flu.
Haven't spent much in the last 3 weeks, and have lost about 1/2 stone in weight, which has spurred me on to active weight loss. Target is to lose another stone by Christmas. Just got a wii fit (courtesy of survey earnings etc, so not ruining the budget) and i think i'll be able to keep doing this.

Ok, caught up.
1st of all 2TR: every thought with you – what a terrible shock for you and your mother.
Scrooge – fantastic achievement to be debt free
Ditto, skint chick’s OH and finding myfeet – mtg free, emergency savings and just one debt left that is being dealt with: all great achievements
Sf – a pgce is really really hard work, so you are bound to be feeling it, and teaching is a skill that will take time to learn – some great support form the teachers here. This roller coaster of feelings about it seems normal, as I’ve had 2 friends do it.
CW = I hadn’t realised the VAT change was temp so thanks for alerting me
Big mumma – how does one get a fire extinguisher topup?
Ram – how exciting re your house - a very special moment getting the keys.
Mooloo – thanks for sharing further on why your life is quite difficult: I was stunned with how much you are having to cope with and how you do keep going. Some good advice from bails I thought and glad to hear you are having a little holiday soon.
Thanks CW for the reminder to live now and not just plan for the future.
Taka, really good to hear your spirits brighter once more. Look forward to seeing more jewellery soon.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
