Help With My Auction Being Closed

I hope I am not breaking any forum rules here but I need help on finding out why my Ebay listing is being stopped.
I have wrote to Ebay and I have now got 4 emails saying the same thing but not actually giving me the answer I am looking for.
I am quite willing to change the wording of my auction but I can't see what parts that are breaking the Ebay rule they state.
The auction concerned is
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LA-MUSCLE-GAIN-BODY-WEIGHT-MUSCLE-BUILDING-SUPPLEMENT_W0QQitemZ9519967791QQcategoryZ19261QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
and below is one of the emails they sent
Thank you for writing to eBay. My name is Callie and I would be happy to
assist you further.
Your item was marketted in a manner suggesting that it boosts the
production of a controlled substance. As this is not allowed on eBay,
your listing was ended and removed by eBay under our Controlled
Substances policy.
Please note that we must follow our internal guidelines to enforce our
policies. Your products were deemed prohibited according to our internal
guidelines. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose our internal guidelines or
members will use that information to circumvent our policy.
Please know that our policies are determined in conjunction with members
of our community, law enforcement, and the government. The policies have
been established not only for the protection of eBay but in the best
interest of you and the rest of the community as well.
As always, my goal is to help you with your questions as quickly and
accurately as possible. I appreciate your patience and understanding
regarding this matter and wish you continued success on eBay.

Customer Report: Hi
I feel like I am running around in circles, could someone please read my
description and read it properly. I am not condoning taking steroids I
am saying the opposite. This product is NOT steroids Not Drug related
OR Harmful I say all this in my description.
If this causes a breach of Ebay policy could someone who has read my
description 'Properly' tell me what part of my description is not
allowed and I shall amend it as I can't see anything in there that says
this product is a Steroid, Drug or anything similar, in fact it says the
opposite.
If whoever reads this would be so kind as to read the previous emails on
this matter below it may save me having to write another email
responding to the same answer.
I can't fix the auction unless I know what it is that needs fixing.

Maybe it is just me and because it is my auction I can't see the problem, but that piece of text is taken straight from the Companies Literature that they send out with my orders, and surely they can't be breaking the law as they are a well respected Worldwide Company.
There are also hundreds of the same product for sale on Ebay.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

I think this might be why:
(taken from your listing)
In late 2001, Norateen and Norateen Heavyweight were BANNED from sale in the UK.
This was not because they were unsafe or dangerous, but because they were considered TOO STRONG to be sold on the open market.
Norateen and Norateen Heavyweight had demonstrated such amazing results that they were considered DRUG LIKE by the government!Ebay~ A wretched hive of scum and villainy.

And its not banned from sale in the UK anyway, I can only assume making such statements is supposed to make people believe that it must be good if its banned.
So change your listing, get rid of the nonsense about it being banned in the UK and you should be tickety boo!!
And just one more issue this product is almost £20 cheaper at gadgetsuk.com
All the best

Having looked on the MHRA web site, Norateen was deemed to be a drug (not banned, but a drug). According to them
The product contained 19-Norandrostenedione which is an
anabolic steroid structurally related to Nandrolone.
Simply by calling this product Norateen II, the vendor is asking for problems. If it's substantially different, it should have another name, if it's not, then it shouldn't be sold in this manner. Frankly, the whole spiel on the listing is designed to make a possible purchaser believe that they're getting something that is only just this side of legal. Not to put too finer a point on it, while puffery is to be expected, the whole thing is reminisent of selling snake oil. I doubt that this page can ever be remade in a manner that ebay could not take exception to. I think you'll find that the name, if nothing else, will consistently get it pulled.

Is this not a drug of sorts? What is in it and how can you be sure that people will not have some kind of reaction to it? I assume it is is something that people are meant to eat so how do you know its safe?
Just wondering0 -
Hi Bear and thanks for your input however I haven't said it was still banned in the UK and if you can buy Norateen Heavyweight £20 cheaper can you please post the link as that would be 50% cheaper than I can buy it wholesale.phatbear wrote:And its not banned from sale in the UK anyway, I can only assume making such statements is supposed to make people believe that it must be good if its banned.

I have taken on board other comments, however this is a company that supplies all top athletes and body builders alike so they can't be doing anything illegal, or they would be busted by drug enforcement.
Sports drug testing is the most stringent in the world and although there are probably substances out there that can get through the net, I wouldn't think selling a product on the internet through a worldwide network would be the most cleverest way of hiding anything.
As stated before this literature is from the company who make this product and is in their leaflets, but I guess if I change the Drug Like and Once banned inserts it may calm Ebay officials. However as they don't answer questions I won't know until they pull it again and issue me with a suspension.
Thanks for the replies so farThese are the Good 'ol Days just wait and see!0 -
I would have that that because Norateen is classed as a medicine that would be why eBay pulled your auction.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
