I hope your OHs brothers girlfriend is okay though? But I get what you mean, when me, my brother and sister paid for my parents birthday holiday we used my credit card and although I knew they'd be paying me back within a few months the balance on the card still bugged me! (Hence why I paid it off with savings
)
I got paid, yayy! Moved £30 into my mums account for board, and rounded my bank balance down to £70, paying £76.68 off my credit card.
My sister is giving me £20 on Wednesday, and I still have £9 in my purse so that'll be my spends money for this week and next so no need to draw any money out the bank come Friday. Also, I've decided rather than saving + paying off my debts equally I'm just going to put £10 into savings each week (because I like seeing it going up!) then paying as much as I can off my credit card each payday.
Hoping work isn't too busy this morning and I can work on another DooYoo review. 700points until the £25 payout! :T0 -
Morning Cinny, looking good - one review and a few rates and you'll easily get those 700 points! Bet you feel better for having been paid! And if you're using £9 spending money for two weeks, I should easily be able to make the £20 in my purse last til Friday...!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

It's actually £29 after my sister gives me some money - can't take credit for living off of £9 when I'm not! But £20 should be easy-peasy, you can do it! *fetches pompoms*
Have to say it was nice seeing my bank account up at £180, but it was quickly squished! At least everything's paid for now and I don't feel guilty owing my parents board.
Spent last night framing up the prints for my Mum and Brother & I have to say they look pretty darn fantastic! My Mum's look just like the framed types I saw in London for about £100, and my brothers looks just as good as the bigger ones I saw for about £150. And it only cost me £70 for both. *claps*0 -

She is fine now, spent the night in hospital but is out now. Think it was just the panic that his brother didnt know what was going on and was so far away so wanted to get there asap, which i can understand.
I really should do some dooyoo reviews today aswell, not long til i can claim the £20 amazon voucher!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Morning,
Yay for getting paid. Sounds like a good idea to put ten pounds in savings each week, i do the same with my OD, pay ten a week as is more motivating to me to see it keep going down. You are doing so well with your christmas pressies, I only have ideas for two so far!0 -
Thanks Wendz! I just need to be good once everything's bought and not start stressing what I have isn't good enough, I always do that and people end up with such rubbish!
Glad she's okay Flower. Good luck with your reviews for today too! I need to start looking for things I can sneak into work in my bag and review when the place is quite for the next few weeks or I'm going to seriously fall of the wagon DooYoo wise!
Ooo, 5 points off the £25 voucher! My knee is jigging out of control and I keep on refreshing my account page like a crazy lady.. I'll just cross it off and check when I get home.
ETA: Just got a text from OH to ask if the money I lent him for the car park this morning (he can re-claim it from his work) can be put towards dinner. :rolleyes: So much for 'meet me in town and I'll treat you to dinner'0 -
